It all began when our now Plungis Genesis Officer (position of such because of this), had stated the name "James Plungis" as the equivalent of a "John Smith", a completely normal, unassuming name. Little did we know before one Google search of the name what we were about to spark. Upon searching the name because of the very unique last name we had our first encounter with a Plungis, Mr. James H. Plungis Jr.

We brought up the name various times throughout the following days until we wanted to know more. We wanted to know what more there is to the Plungises. The family tree followed and the rest was history. Here we are now!
